Christ Love

Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…

A student was so confused after her lecture that she decided to see the lecturer in his office(a born-again). On entering, the lecturer saw her and like a dog he chased her, apparently because she was wearing trouser. Two days after, the lecturer was doing evangelism and lo and behold she came to the girls hostel and knocked on the room’s door. The girl saw him and told him “I rather die a pagan if what you are is what christianity is all about”. The lecturer felt dejected and left couldn’t even wait to preach to others.

Some of us win 2souls by preaching and we discourage 10souls by our actions. The truth is we will all get reward for the souls we have gained likewise we would also be punished for those souls we have discouraged. We are not suppose to be judgmental, rather we should be corrective. Most of us judge others before we hear their views, we condemn them from afar, we are worse that the pharises that crucify Christ.

The scriptures said “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness” this is what Christ wants to see in us and the only things that can bring the non-believers to our God, this is Christ Love. Many quote “don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers” but Christ ate with gentiles. That part of the bible wasn’t saying don’t relate with them or don’t show them love, it is saying don’t go their way; don’t serve their God, don’t do their evil deeds, separate yourself for God.
