I Will Not Let You Go Unless You Bless Me

Gen 32:26 Then he said, “Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

I agree that the era we are we operate by grace and favour but some times drastic problem requires drastic solution. if all other measures have failed then you have no choice than to harass God. Yes! You need to harass Him.
Give the LORD no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth…isaiah 62:7. Note: you are the present jerusalem.

I, and I am sure you too, have heard of stories of people sleeping for several days in church or on the mountain and finally got what they want. Well, when He sees that they won’t leave He (God) answers their prayers (You can visit ikeji arakeji, mountain of fire camp, redemption camp to hear testimonies and see it real life). This is spiritual harassment! Jacob said to the angel I will not let you go unless you bless me, after trying everything the angel had no choice than to pay the ransom (bless) to his “kidnapper” (jacob).

Tell me, what is it that you are passing through? Have you tried all solutions yet they have failed? Have you prayed and it seems God is not listening? Have you noticed that it’s becoming a trend in you family or your life and it needs to be broken? Then it is time to hold God to ransom; time to harass him like Jacob, time make him see reasons like king hezekiah, time to embarrass Him with tears like hannah in shilo and time to face up to Him like jabez.

I am not talking of your usual 30minutes half-sleep-half-awake prayers, I am talking of the real business prayer. For example If it’s a job you need pack all your certificates put them on the alter tell him if he doesn’t provide job you won’t take them back ditto admission, good husband, good health, divine favour, contracts etc. If you hold God to ransom He will pay the ransom! A lady was listed to be sacked in one of the modern banks during the merger as soon as she got wind of it, she relocated straight to redemption camp ground (from where she goes to work everyday) and told God, “restore my Job then I will go back home” and after 21days rather than sack she was promoted to head a new branch of the bank..

You can also hold him to ransom, tell Him I won’t let you go unless you bless me, I won’t stop my prayers till they are answered, I won’t leave this mountain till my life is turn around. Don’t let your pride, your lack of faith, your fear and your comfort deny you of your prospect. Seek God now when you can find Him. A man’s problem is his problem and only him feels the pain most…hold God now!
