Would You like to Be Replaced?

Would You like to Be Replaced?

Luke 19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

God has made you for a purpose, He has planted you where you are to fulfill a part in bringing His kingdom to be on earth. The talent you are blessed with, the success you have achieved, the trials you are passing through, the words of your mouth and your actions are meant to glorify Him.

Many of us have failed in our calling, so carried away by our own selfish interest…the love for “I and me alone” in everything. So also God is replacing us, with people less than us, with people who are like stones compared to what He had made us. Irrespective of what God had invested in you, if you don’t do His will he will replace you.

God replace people for one major reason and that is disobedience, people disobeying God to do their own will. Deut 28:1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. I encourage you my friends listen to God, do his will and let his name be glorified in your life. Then He shall satisfy you will all you need. Invariably, if you obey God first He would honour your will.

Moses was replaced by Joshua, Saul was replaced by David, Ballam was replaced by his donkey etc. In our world today, many general overseers have been replaced by ordinary member of the congregation even though they still remain on the alter. May talented people have been replaced on the alter of glory by less talented people. Do you want to be replaced?

Prayer Point:
1. God what ever will make you replace me, take it away from me.
2. I want to glorify your name, God make my life a testimony.
