Provoke Receiving

Provoke Receiving

Luke 6:38 – Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

A well know man said he went to visit a governor, the governor saw his Ipad and complimented it. On his next visit to the governor, he bought similar ipad for the governor. The governor was so impressed, (since he became a governor no one bought anything for him) he gave him a contract worth over N10million.

Giving is an act that provokes receiving. it is an act sanctioned by God based on principle. Givers they say, shall never lack. The reward of giving is irrespective of whether you are a born-again or religious. It has nothing to do with who you give to, though when you give to people who can’t repay you, then you are provoking God to do the repaying.

A pastor once testified that he gave out his jalopy to a church member (a taxi-driver) who lost his taxicab in an accident and before the end of the year, the pastor got 2 brand new cars as gift from people outside the church.

Don’t make excuse that you don’t have much, believe the little you have is sufficient to provoke blessings from God. You have clothes you don’t wear, you have shoes you don’t use, you have items that are lying idle…you can give all to people who are in need. This yuletide season you can provoke God for bountiful rewards.

Know this, rather than God’s plans to change, He will change people. When you fail to give to someone God wants to bless, He would raise another man to do so. If God has laid it in your heart to give the little you have please don’t hesitate and make this season the best for someone out there and God would repay you exceedingly.
