I Love My Room

I woke up this morning with my mind wondering, thoughts running up and down my head and dejection seems to be staring me in the face. I suddenly realized that success is not optional for me, it is essential if I want a fulfilled existence.

Then it struck, the ultimate question popped up in my head; “what is/are the secret(s) to success or better put what are the things life expect from me in order to take me to my destiny, cause I am so sure I am destined for greatness? ”

There and then I found all the answers right there, in my very room:

The fan said,”be cool”
you need not rush perfect timing may not exist but perfect preparation prevent poor performance

the roof said, “aim high”
never set the bar too low and nothing is impossible, if you have the right tools and perception

the window said, “see the world”
don’t limit yourself to a place or a dream, widen your horizon, there is a big world out there waiting for you to explore

the clock said, “every minute is precious”
time waits for no man and it is money, the value of time is well appreciated when you understand the concept of nearly

the mirror said, “reflect before you act”
never be in haste to act, even if you won’t get it right the first time, you shouldn’t be far off the target.

The calendar said, “be up to date”
be well informed, know the trend, be able to predict then explore the opportunities

The door said, “push hard for your goals”
don’t give up on first try, not even on the fiftieth try, if you think it is achievable then it will be achieved

The mat said “kneel down and pray”
nothing passes prayer, if you have faith, when you believe it comes to be. when it seems no one is listening, God is always there

The toilet said “flush and move on”
when you falter, when disappointment happens, when perfect overnight becomes imperfect shake it off and keep moving

The Bible laughed and said, “read
me for direction”
Joshua 1:8 (NLT) Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

After all these revelations I was glad to rise, welcome a brand new day and spin into action. Love you my room and thank God for the eye opener.
