No More Excuses

No More Excuses

Excuses simple put are explanation for failure. Excuses by design are reason we use to comfort ourselves that a failure wasn’t entirely our fault or that failure was inevitable. Most have become philosophers when it comes to making excuses, they make excuses for a failure that is yet to happen. Excuses can be absorbing no doubt, most times it is comforting but the twist to it is that it inevitably destroys potentials.

Accepting responsibility is an integral part of growing and development can’t take place in the absence of growth. Excuses attempt to put the blame on every other things or persons but our self and by this we loose every sense of responsibility. Jordan Belfort said “The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story (excuses) you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it”. Many make excuses even before failing, at this stage all sense of responsibility is lost.

In the words of Benjamin Franklin, “He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else”. Put aside all excuses be it before or after, admit your flaws, learn from them, move on from them and transform them to success like those before you did. One excuse today, will give birth to more tomorrow and an inevitable failure in the end.

“ Never make excuses. Your friends don’t need them and your foes won’t believe them.”
John Wooden

My 3 words to you today my friend, “No More Excuses”; enough is enough, the change has to be now, no delays, no whys, no buts and definitely no excuses.
