God of the Good Times

I have had my fair share of trying times, there had been times I had questioned my faith, many of these times I had asked God, ‘where are you?’. But ever since I had this song, there are so much my eyes have been opened to and there are so much I now understand.

I have come to understand that my problems don’t mean my God is inefficient or insufficient, neither are my victories the limit to what He can do.
I have come to realize that my God, no matter how bad my situation is, cannot dessert me.
I now know that though sorrow may last for the night, Joy comes in the wake because my God is always working to make things right for me.

God On The Mountain

Life is easy, when you’re up on the mountain
And you’ve got peace of mind, like you’ve never known.
But things change, when you’re down in the valley.
Don’t lose faith, for you’re never alone.

For the God on the mountain, is the God in the valley.
When things go wrong, He’ll make them right.
And the God of the good times
is still God in the bad times.
The God of the day is still God in the night.

We talk of faith way up on the mountain.
Talk comes so easy when life’s at its best.
Now down in the valleys, of trials and temptations
That’s where your faith, is really put to the test.

For the God on the mountain is the God in the valley.
